    dear mark,mike and the boys,
a massive thank-you for putting on such a quality concert. myself and the “Stotfold 42 Massive” loved every minute and every song. the girls were dancing all night & me and dickie double dex were air-thumbing to every tune.
just one question – how come you didn’t play “sun goes down” or anything off “standing in the light”?
thanks again for a great show and for all the tunes over the years.
see you at the next one.(hopefully at the indigo?)
    best regards, paul (streaky) bacon

What a great night out. Me and my buddy Pete had a fab time and were lucky enough to meet the boys after the concert. We even managed to get the last train back into town – which was a big bonus. The machine stops rocks and epitomises the great sound that is L42. Next year the band is the big 30 so hoping for live events to celebrate. Simon

Hi everyone – just wanted to say what a cracking time I had at the Indigo2 on Saturday. This was my fifth Level 42 gig and the furthest from home (usually see them in Ipswich and shook hands with Mark after the last one in October 2008. He said ‘come and see us at the Indigo2′….so I did!) and was I glad – a night not to be missed and the perfect venue. Can’t wait ’til the next one – thanks everyone!!

My first Level 42 concert in the 20+ years I’ve been a fan – now I know what I’ve been missing.

An absolutely awesome night, I had such a great, great time. It all went so fast! Can’t wait to come and see you again (and again and again…)

Thank you for such a fantastic night!

Oh my goodness what a show! Its like watching a very posh bottle of wine just get better and better with each year that passes. Absolute magic and what a great venue. Where else can I guarantee having a fabulous knee trembling precious few hours that leaves me breathless every time! Thank you gorgeous Mark.

Hello Mark, Mike and the lads
Well what a 50th package! – China Town, Harlequins v Saracens, Arsenal v Burnley a few beers, the Thames Clipper and your fantastic concert at Indigo O2. Coupled with a surprise meet and greet – my god was i chuffed. 1st heard love meeting love as a 21 yr old and couldnt stop playing it – listend to your music ever since. To meet and have a quick chat only minutes before kick off speaks volumes about all of you as people. Tremendous “customer care” and from myself, my wife linda and the the rest of the “birthday gang” a huge thanks for such a wonderful night. What an atmosphere, just like way back.Still buzzin when we got back to Yorkshire (Settle)last night.

    ps

I am also now an owner of a bass guitar (a b day prez)but where the hell do i start. I havnt a clue.Any tips Mark!!

    Dear M, M, G, N & S

What can I say – except thank you for another fantastic night listening to all the old tracks I used to listen to in Dad’s car as a child. As usual Dad and I made it to the front row – just in front of Mike. Looking forward to ‘Living it up’ again next year. Nix x

Oh my 3 days on and I’m still on a high after the 02!! The t-shirt Mark was wearing when he came out to speak to us after the gig had the logo on it “Power, Beauty & Passion” well the gig was certainly full of all these!!!

Hi to the usual crowd who of course make these things special too!!! You know who you are!!!

Have never seen them perform like this (I’ve been to loads of excellent gigs) but WOW they really did go for it at 02 and everyone was totally amazed by the whole experience, I could rant on for hours but I shan’t.

I am one very very happy (old) girl and can’t express just how lucky we were to be there – this gig will take some beating!!!

Guys you are without doubt the very very best!!

Thank you for the many years of great shows behind us and here’s to the future of many many more to come!!!

Lots of love to you all and thank you – you are fantastic

Amazing night at the IndigO2! I flew in from New York City just to see the show. I saw you open for Steve Winwood and Tina Turner back in the 80′s but never had the pleasure of seeing you perform a full headliner show. What an amazing treat! Please, please do a gig in New York!

    Lots of love from NYC,

Thank you for a fantastic night at the Indigo2. The venue was great and sound was perfect. Can’t wait for the next tour, please come to Norwich UEA :). I’ve been a Level 42 fan since 1987, thanks to my Mum for recording the Live at Wembley concert shown late at night on BBC 2.

    Long live the King :)

had more old stuff – It was great!

Thank you Mark & the boys for another great night at IndigO2 on Saturday. The show was fantastic as usual, Gemma & I were right on the barrier at the front by the speakers on your left so we had a great view… and speaking of getting home… the trains and tubes were not running properly so we
didn’t get back to Wimbledon before midnight and
my car was locked in the car park overnight. Cost me £ 25 to get it out the next morning !!! but I’m not complaining… you were worth it, much love to you all… Diane & Gemma xxx

Dear Mark, Mike, Gary, Nathan and Sean,

Just to thank you for such an EXCELLENT gig last Saturday! Boy, what a shame the cameras weren’t there! It would have wiped away all memories of the non-existant crowd participation on the notorious Reading DVD forever!!
It’s a shame most of your loyal fans are creaky middle aged people now (you should have seen the groaning bodies sitting all over the floor afterwards!) but I guess we can enjoy all getting old together!
Thanks also for all the fabulous gigs over the last 5 months – it’s been really special for me as you have some fantastic people amongst your followers and I’ve made some wonderful friends thanks to the band.
All I can say is ROLL ON 2010!!
Love and best wishes to everyone,
    Trish xxxx

    Dear Mark and the Crew

Thank you so much, Saturday was just the best concert ever, I’m still reeling from the music and nostalgia. I took my niece who has had L42 drummed into her since she was born and she loved it, but it’s not the same as being there the first time round, eh?

All the best to you guys, love Amanda and Emma X

What a great night! It’s got to be up there as one of the all time best. Mark, you and the boys were so in sync! You were as unique and special at the Indigo2 as you were when I first saw you at Goldiggers in Chippenham 20 years ago – and dozens of times since! It’s like a drug and I felt high and topped up after last week. Don’t ever stop! Just one small request – on the next tour can you play ”My Father’s Shoes”? Such a good song, but never heard live. Thanks again for a fantastic gig. Keith & Joleen.
