dear mark,mike and the boys,
a massive thank-you for putting on such a quality concert. myself and the “Stotfold 42 Massive” loved every minute and every song. the girls were dancing all night & me and dickie double dex were air-thumbing to every tune.
just one question – how come you didn’t play “sun goes down” or anything off “standing in the light”?
thanks again for a great show and for all the tunes over the years.
see you at the next one.(hopefully at the indigo?)
best regards, paul (streaky) bacon
thanks guys, another awesome night. I took my brother…he was gob smacked!

What a great night out. Me and my buddy Pete had a fab time and were lucky enough to meet the boys after the concert. We even managed to get the last train back into town – which was a big bonus. The machine stops rocks and epitomises the great sound that is L42. Next year the band is the big 30 so hoping for live events to celebrate. Simon
What a night… probably the best gig I’ve ever been to & I’ve been to loads. You’re all brilliant!!!!
Only my 2nd time(first time at Folkestone October 08) to see you & the boys live, Mark but been a fan since 85. You & the boys never disappoint – cannot believe how incredible you are live after listening to all the albums for SO many years! Please don’t ever stop – I’m gonna be at every gig from now on. And I agree fantastic sound at the Indigo. Thanks SO MUCH. You guys are the best.
Absolutely gutted I couldn’t make it to Indigo, this has got to be the first I have missed since Wembley 86! Please tour again soon and come somewhere nearer to Henley on Thames!!!
I’m off to listen to Forever Now and Retro Glide now and sulk:)

Having travelled from Jersey to see the boys, I wasn’t disappointed! Haven’t seen you since Nottingham a few years ago. And the sound and the atmosphere hasn’t changed! Wonderful performance from all. And an excellent night.
Ta muchly boys! x

Hi everyone – just wanted to say what a cracking time I had at the Indigo2 on Saturday. This was my fifth Level 42 gig and the furthest from home (usually see them in Ipswich and shook hands with Mark after the last one in October 2008. He said ‘come and see us at the Indigo2′….so I did!) and was I glad – a night not to be missed and the perfect venue. Can’t wait ’til the next one – thanks everyone!!

What can I say? Such a huge WOW!
My first Level 42 concert in the 20+ years I’ve been a fan – now I know what I’ve been missing.
An absolutely awesome night, I had such a great, great time. It all went so fast! Can’t wait to come and see you again (and again and again…)
Thank you for such a fantastic night!

Thankyou all SO much for a great time. What a perfect end to what has been a great tour. Loved the IndigO2,looking forward to the next time xx
Oh my goodness what a show! Its like watching a very posh bottle of wine just get better and better with each year that passes. Absolute magic and what a great venue. Where else can I guarantee having a fabulous knee trembling precious few hours that leaves me breathless every time! Thank you gorgeous Mark.
Big hugs xxx
Hello Mark, Mike and the lads
Well what a 50th package! – China Town, Harlequins v Saracens, Arsenal v Burnley a few beers, the Thames Clipper and your fantastic concert at Indigo O2. Coupled with a surprise meet and greet – my god was i chuffed. 1st heard love meeting love as a 21 yr old and couldnt stop playing it – listend to your music ever since. To meet and have a quick chat only minutes before kick off speaks volumes about all of you as people. Tremendous “customer care” and from myself, my wife linda and the the rest of the “birthday gang” a huge thanks for such a wonderful night. What an atmosphere, just like way back.Still buzzin when we got back to Yorkshire (Settle)last night.
ps
I am also now an owner of a bass guitar (a b day prez)but where the hell do i start. I havnt a clue.Any tips Mark!!
Dear M, M, G, N & S
What can I say – except thank you for another fantastic night listening to all the old tracks I used to listen to in Dad’s car as a child. As usual Dad and I made it to the front row – just in front of Mike. Looking forward to ‘Living it up’ again next year. Nix x
For two hours on Saturday night, L42 were the only band that mattered to me.
Thanks for putting on such a wonderful show. Hope to see you again soon!
Oh my 3 days on and I’m still on a high after the 02!! The t-shirt Mark was wearing when he came out to speak to us after the gig had the logo on it “Power, Beauty & Passion” well the gig was certainly full of all these!!!
Hi to the usual crowd who of course make these things special too!!! You know who you are!!!
Have never seen them perform like this (I’ve been to loads of excellent gigs) but WOW they really did go for it at 02 and everyone was totally amazed by the whole experience, I could rant on for hours but I shan’t.
I am one very very happy (old) girl and can’t express just how lucky we were to be there – this gig will take some beating!!!
Guys you are without doubt the very very best!!
Thank you for the many years of great shows behind us and here’s to the future of many many more to come!!!
Lots of love to you all and thank you – you are fantastic

Edward&Dorota
What a fantastic night. The last time I saw you in concert was over 20 years ago. It brought back my teenage years and I was so overwhelmed by everything. The venue was really great and you are brilliant live. Can’t wait to see you again soon.
Long live the KING!!!
Rob
One of the best gigs since the Hammersmith month! Well done Mark and the boys, ya blew me away! The Indig02 was a great way to end the tour, brilliant venue.
I know we’ve all got the live DVD from the euro show to look forward too……..but………any chance of an audio of the Indigo gig…….an epic occasion deserves to be captured to be played out and not just in the memory…
please?
you are, after all, brilliant…
cheers,
Chris
Amazing night at the IndigO2! I flew in from New York City just to see the show. I saw you open for Steve Winwood and Tina Turner back in the 80′s but never had the pleasure of seeing you perform a full headliner show. What an amazing treat! Please, please do a gig in New York!
Lots of love from NYC,
Karen
I had a fantastic time on Sat at the Indigo, it was the best Birthday Present ever x
Dear Mark, Mike and the boys,
Thank you for a fantastic night at the Indigo2. The venue was great and sound was perfect. Can’t wait for the next tour, please come to Norwich UEA :). I’ve been a Level 42 fan since 1987, thanks to my Mum for recording the Live at Wembley concert shown late at night on BBC 2.
Long live the King :)
Well Saturday was an amazing gig in London at the Indigo2. The crowd
were really up for it. The setlist was different from the tour and
had more old stuff – It was great!

Thank you Mark & the boys for another great night at IndigO2 on Saturday. The show was fantastic as usual, Gemma & I were right on the barrier at the front by the speakers on your left so we had a great view… and speaking of getting home… the trains and tubes were not running properly so we
didn’t get back to Wimbledon before midnight and
my car was locked in the car park overnight. Cost me £ 25 to get it out the next morning !!! but I’m not complaining… you were worth it, much love to you all… Diane & Gemma xxx
Dear Mark, Mike, Gary, Nathan and Sean,
Just to thank you for such an EXCELLENT gig last Saturday! Boy, what a shame the cameras weren’t there! It would have wiped away all memories of the non-existant crowd participation on the notorious Reading DVD forever!!
It’s a shame most of your loyal fans are creaky middle aged people now (you should have seen the groaning bodies sitting all over the floor afterwards!) but I guess we can enjoy all getting old together!
Thanks also for all the fabulous gigs over the last 5 months – it’s been really special for me as you have some fantastic people amongst your followers and I’ve made some wonderful friends thanks to the band.
All I can say is ROLL ON 2010!!
Love and best wishes to everyone,
Trish xxxx
Hey Craig, thanks for sharing your video – wonderful to get a taste of what must have been a fantastic atmosphere on Saturday! I was at the Oslo show last Tuesday, that was amazing too.
All the best, Andrew
5 days later and my body is still groaning sadly Trish saw the worst of it in the early hours on sunday morning but I certainly agree we must all stick together through the aching bones and continue to see many more great gigs like Saturdays was!!

Dear Mark and the Crew
Thank you so much, Saturday was just the best concert ever, I’m still reeling from the music and nostalgia. I took my niece who has had L42 drummed into her since she was born and she loved it, but it’s not the same as being there the first time round, eh?
All the best to you guys, love Amanda and Emma X
LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!! You know we always enjoy every gig, but this was just great!!
Lots of love Jackie xxx
Wish it was this time last week so we could do it all again! A totally magic night. Thank you
for being so special.
Mary x
What a great night! It’s got to be up there as one of the all time best. Mark, you and the boys were so in sync! You were as unique and special at the Indigo2 as you were when I first saw you at Goldiggers in Chippenham 20 years ago – and dozens of times since! It’s like a drug and I felt high and topped up after last week. Don’t ever stop! Just one small request – on the next tour can you play ”My Father’s Shoes”? Such a good song, but never heard live. Thanks again for a fantastic gig. Keith & Joleen.
I have to agree with you there Keith, great song. Also Eyes Waterfalling live would be good…….sod it, just play ‘em all!!!! :)
