YIPPEE!! was browsing through the website and this information had just been uploaded so i acted fast and like a crocodile snapped up my dvd .
This is great it looks like i was one of the first in the queue which is unusual for me and i am really looking forward to having this in my hands.

Great! Shame I’m a bit skint just now. Looks like I’m gonna be one of the ones to miss out. *sobs*…just a crap time for me I’m afraid.

Did you post this same post on Facebook in the L42 page? Just seen it there and it’s what made me come over here to look. Thanks for that if you did. ;)

Thanks Morgan for solving this matter, thought that would be the case. all credit to you as always.
    Sophie

  7. Posted 23 September 2009 at 21:22 |

Ah-ha! Morgan is the culprit! We will have you hung, drawn and quartered then burnt at the stake for that! Hehehe! Only joking with you Morgan, I had a feeling it may have been you but didn’t want to jump to conclusions just in case. Thanks for clearing it up though. Merci! :)

  8. Posted 23 September 2009 at 21:25 |

I take it you deleted my previous post too Morgan…I didn’t say anything wrong…well I didn’t think I did. I apologise if I did. :(

Don’t worry Marie, i’m sure that he knows what you said never meant to cause harm but all in good fun and will be very understanding and overlook the situation.
Actually through reading your comments it seems evident that we both share the same kind of humour which is we’re wicked and full of devilment this can either be good or bad depending on who you try to be humourous with, someone like me has to be selective about who i joke with sometimes this has evoked negative responses i completely understand where you’re coming from.
Morgan has not responded so it must be ok but be ready waiting if he does.
He knows that we love him really!!

Hehe…Sophie you know me so well! How eerie is that?
Well if you want to find me elsewhere, click on my name here and it will take you to my MySpace page, or you can find me in Facebook.
I have Morgan on both of those so if he’s annoyed with me, I’m sure he would contact me there to sort things out, bless him. :) But I’m not annoyed at all and I’m sure he had a good reason to delete my post. No worries. :)

Always nice to connect with more L42 fans…speak soon…best wishes to you and all here xx

Received mine this morning and was surprised by the ultra quick delivery considering that i had only placed the order about 3 days ago and delighted.
Haven’t got round to viewing yet but will be playing it loud tomorrow.
Thanks for the efficient service and well done boys.

May i be first to congratulate and give the guys a big high five and thumbs up for a mindblowing performance in Holland.
This was gripping stuff which literally had me on the edge of my seat and my eyes just totally transfixed to the screen!!
The vocals were really strong and when the music was cranked up full volume on my hd tv it sounded out of this world,
You boys are cracking and i love you all to bits.
It was lovely to see such a super audience supporting you, what a wild night.
Thanks a million for releasing this spectacular concert on dvd which now has pride of place in my treasured L42 collection.

    Hi guys,

The actual sound quality of the new DVD is superb-the best since “Live at Wembley” in my opinion.
The band are on fire and the KBmk2 sounds great…:-)..
    Buy and enjoy!

As a very poor student, I have no money so, assuming nobody’s gonna buy me one, would it be possible to put up some 30sec clips like you did with RetroGlide?

    Nice one lads!

What a solid performance from start to finish! Thanks for capturing a great concert experience to share with your friends. My highlights included Heaven in My Hands (hope you include this one on next year’s set list), Dive Into The Sun and Hot Water. I especially enjoyed Mark playing with himself (sorry how that sounds)during the Bass Noodle! Is it crazy how I wonder what Mark’s favorite gum flavor is? Forget the instruments, he could have had a gum endorsement the last 30 years. I see that Sean’s now chewing onstage, too. How can one play the sax so well while chewing gum? Amazing talent. Thanks L42, you’re a great musical team.

still waiting for my dvd to come..
i ‘m just wondering why L42 didn’t made the Indonesian DVD? i mean they’ve been here for couple times..

Musically and vocally the band continues to go from strength to strength with some fantastic guitar playing from Nathan, they really do justice to such a great back catalogue of songs. Would love to hear some new material though and wondered how things are progressing for a new album in 2010.

Just ordered the new Live in Holland dvd, came in 2 days, signed by Mark. Brilliant service. The dvd itself has pristine quality sound and picture, which equals blu-ray on my system. I really appreciate the quality of musicianship from Mark, Mike, and the rest of the band. What a tight sound, wow! The only thing i’m not keen on is the cameraman focusing on Mark & Mike’s faces a lot of the time. With all the effort that goes into playing the instruments, I want to see more of the lads’ talent.

Also , I was dissappointed that Mike doesn’t play more of the keyboard parts himself, and seems to be relying more on sequenced backing. He’s such a talented keyboard player, and it seems a shame to be putting more on backing tracks. Anyhow, these guys are awesome. Keep up the exremely hard work you all put in, it is very much appreciated :)

    Ordered mine as well now!

If it’s as good as the show at the O2 Indigo then it will rock my socks off.

Can’t wait for it to drop on the mat now :-))

What do you want for your birthday Mark?

    Chris.

  32. Posted 15 October 2009 at 16:04 |

Still trying to persuade someone to get me this as a Chrstmas present…I’m working on it! ;)

As for Mark’s birthday next week…i personally would like to dedicate a non-Level 42 song to him and the guys (past & present) if I may.

GERRY RAFFERTY “Days Gone Down” From Nightowl (1979)
You can listen to it on YouTube… the words are just so perfect. They relay how I have always felt and always will.

Have a great 21st (+30) Mark! *big humongous hug and a big snog*…oh well…who’s gonna stop me giving online kisses? Hehhee! xx :)

    Mark,
Sending best wishes with plenty of kisses blown from me to you in cyberspace.
Have a fantastic birthday filled with precious memories that you’ll always remember with fondness.
The track i would like to dedicate again which is also a non L42 number has to be Bill Wither’s Lovely day which is very uplifting and contains such a positive message .
You still look amazing and will always have a special place in the hearts of your fans.
    Love you always,
    Sophie xx

Great show! Got the dvd a couple of days ago and watching it now for the second time. The musicianship and songs are fantastic. My only complaint is that I would like to hear one or two more of the new songs, for example “Hell Town Story”. But I guess some hard prioritations must be made with a catalogue of songs like that of Level 42…

Thank you Level 42 for all the inspiration so far – I look forward to the next album!
