The audience came alive to this one. What marred it a little for me was at the end, when Mark…erm…did something absentmindedly, for want of a better description. Hehehehe! *blush*
Oh my! :)
Funny, I was going to comment that the “cupping” move at 5:09-10 was a highlight of the clip. Admittedly, I confess, I’ve paused and replayed it several times and I won’t lie, it was a thrill. Is that wrong of me? :o)
On a less thrilling note, Lyndon Connah’s stage outfits always disturbs me. Surely his mates could have told him the yoga-style tank top wasn’t a good look for him. Or perhaps they could have suggested push ups or even some sunlight to improve the aesthetics. I’m sure he’s a great and talented guy, just hard to get past the tank top and less than stellar vocals.
My apologies, I didn’t intend to sound so mean — Lyndon vocals far exceed my abilities. I guess when compared to Mike’s calibre it’s hard to compete. Much love Lyndon, I promise I will try hard to look past the tank top.
Let me fast forward to 5:09 again and I’ll forget all about it, I’m sure.
HAHAHHAHA alberarose…I loved your posts! :)
Yes I admit too that I had to watch that part of the clip several time…just to make sure I was seeing correctly… ;)
If you go to the next part of the video, ‘The Chinese Way’, Mark continues his ‘readjustments’ then continues to dance as if no one would notice! Hilarious! :D
Also on the next video, Mark refers to Lyndon’s outfit, when he introduces him as ‘the gay weightlifter’. HAHAHA!
Whew, I was hoping readers might find humor in my confession and musings.
Thanks for the lead regarding ‘The Chinese Way’ clip, I couldn’t make out what Mark was saying at that part previously.
Lyndon’s such a strange duck though. There’s a belief that ALL musicians’ sexy factor increases while on stage, sadly I think he may just be the exception.
His wrestler outfit is a little reminicent of Mike Meyers’ “Dieter” character from SNL http://snlarc.jt.org/char.php?i=276, with a touch of Bruno thrown in for good measure.
Again, I’m sure he’s a great bloke. Cheers.
firstly, I like Lyndon and his style of music and positive vibe. My opinion of this video- flawless -it is all very good. Best version of this song yet imo.
Great gig! I was there. A very warm afternoon in the woods of Skanderborg.
