I think maybe Mark enjoyed that a little bit…maybe…not that anyone could tell! Hehehe…yeah riiiiight…he was having a BLAST for sure! It must have been amazing for him to meet someone he admired for so long. I can only imagine. Not only meet but play along with! Wow! :)
Was Nathan directing BC? It certainly seemed so.
Although it was great to see BC playing with Level 42, almost everything that could go wrong went wrong that night. BC was out of rythm several times, probably due to the fact that he had to play with in-ears with clicktracks. On the other had, it had something very special this night, and it showed that Mark is a very talented musician as well who doesn’t run away from problems. Lessons In Love out of rythm? No Problem, just stop and start again, helping BC on this way. Top!
The songs that didn’t feature this tracks went all superb, like Chinese Way. Nathan was indeed directing him.
BTW: I really like the sound of the bass during the break, awesome! Have you got more off. video’s from the Hague Jazz Morgan? Love to see them!
It is pretty tricky playing with a drummer who you haven’t worked with before.Well done guuys.
When are we going to see you at one of the following festivals like Glastonbury,Reading or the V festival?
Still the best for 30 years playing…
