It had to happen one day. Wally Badarou will get Mark King, Phil Gould, Mike Lindup, Manu Dibango, Alain Chamfort, Berenice (“M” Robin Scott’s daughter), Jim Palmer (of Robert Palmer), Paulo Goude (of Grace Jones & Jean-Paul Goude), Barry Reynolds (Compass Point All Stars), and many other guests, for a musical story telling of the past, present and future experiences in life.
Classic songs and pieces will be performed during this “BlaBla Wilson: Special WB & Friends” tv-show, to be followed by a mini-concert with most of the guests, the core of original Level 42 included, at the same venue.

I’m quite disappointed that Boon couldn’t be at this evening. What a wonderful thing that would have been!
I’d have loved to have gone to this, but I do draw the line at going abroad for gigs…probably for the simple reason that my passport expired a long time ago.
I hope everyone who makes the trip to this gig has a wonderful time and I hope we see some photos or video clips of the night here. :)
yes what a pity this was not on Island then would definately gone (and maybe Boon would be there too)

Oh how i wish i could be at this one !!! hmm not sure about drawing the line on gigs abroad but its certainly a very expensive undertaking … one i have been contemplating myself for some time .. the jury’s out frankly in my mind with that … to justify it for myself and to explain it to my family to make this trip from Canada ..
… but i am thrilled to hear that this is happening .
If anyone could have pulled this off it was Wally .. whom i have great respect for as a musician and a gentleman . I can only hope there are many pictures taken and videos if possible .. :) . All the best for Wally, Phil, Mark , Berenice etc on this .. as i repeact each and every one of them :)

This is a major milestone. Iam very happy to hear of them playing together again, even if i do not see it in person. This concert is a goal the supporters of this band lobbied for, and we all won! thank you to all Level 42 band members for this gift!
