The new dates are great, but any chance of coming to Australia(and especially Sydney). I’ve been a fan for over 20 years and have never had the chance to see you live. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would love to see you here in Australia. Please consider coming down under. Thanking you in advance, your big fan Greg.

Well, I must join the cast of so many that beg and plead for your appearance closer to one’s home – any chance of coming to the sunny hot desert of the desperate and beautiful city of Las Vegas? If not, what are the plans for another tour? Wow! Pressure, pressure, huh? I get a strong feeling that you’ve probably already pushed that envelope and the US has been wrapped up but any commentary is greatly appreciated! So excited to see the band, even if I have to go to California! Thanks for all of the updated info! Kara

    Mark et al,

Is there any possiblity that you could squeeze in a midwestern-US show between your 8/1 Vegas show and your departure for the UK, say, in Omaha, Kansas City, Denver or Minneapolis?

I’m here in the middle of the country and my favorite band is coming to the East Coast and Vegas but will travel if I’m forced!

So glad you’re touring. Love your music.

A Big thanks to Electric 42 for the full tour updates which included the Scottish Gigs. I can now relax & look forward to The King Of Bass along with the rest of Level 42 playing in Glasgow again.
Cheers to all involved in gathering this info. Also its great news to see that Level 42 got the gig slots for USA & Canada, Enjoy.

Agree with davidr: need ticket info for the Vegas show. Probably the only show I can make and would hate to miss it because I have no idea when/how to throw my money at somebody.

I will be going to Gateshead in October, having seen the band for the first time in years in Carlisle a couple of years ago-thought they were awesome. I bought a copy of the Hammersmith Odeon concert in 2003. I wonder if anybody can tell me where the song Follow Me comes from? I can’t recall hearing this on any Level 42 or Mark King album.

I hope Germany is on the list this time!! However, you should do a promotion tour. A visit of the tv-show “TV total” on PRO7 would be good. They have an excellent showband “The Heavytones”, playing also Level 42 songs from time to time. You will find a marvellous version of “Almost there” on their latest CD. Maybe Level 42 could replace “The Heavytones” for one or two shows. CU 2010, at least again in Holland, Stefan (fan for 28 years now…)

    VEGAS UPDATE
Tickets are now available at the Rio website. Look under “Entertainment”, the check the Crown Theater listings. Pretty resonable price, too. Got mine already, so Peggy can go ahead and tentatively count me in for the after party.

Steinhenge, the post-concert party in Vegas will be at the Voodoo Lounge in the Rio. They have agreed to waive the cover charge for anyone showing a concert ticket.

I haven’t given up hope yet that “More dates to come……..Love to all, Mx” may mean a Canadian date or two in early August. For some reason Canadian dates get published well behind those of the US (Tears for Fears’ date near Toronto was announced 2 months after it was ‘unofficially’ known).

I’ll miss Gary too, but also looking forward to the new chops PRB will bring to the band.

Anybody from Chicagoland planning to hit one of the US dates? My wife and I are both long-time fans- we’re making plans to attend the 7/25 Pittsburgh show. We’d love to connect with fellow Chi-town L42 fans!

I flew solo over to Dublin a few years ago to catch my first L42 show – awesome, can’t wait to see them again!

To Mark King: You remain one of my biggest musical influences (going back to the mid-eighties). Thanks for coming back to the US and giving us a chance to enjoy you guys again. I hope we get to meet you and get your autograph!

    Hey Mark,

See you in Rotterdam but it’s at the old Luxor Theatre, not the new one. And that’s SUPER, because the atmosphere of the Old theatre can really bring us back in time!
