Nice one!! What kind of trouble did you get in Mark, in “the early years”? :);) Can’t wait to see you guys live again in Utrecht!!!;)
XXX Claudia
Nice little interview, everyone looks nice and relaxed. So funny that Mark remembers the day they where on ‘Mike’ because…”oh it was the day of the Challenger disaster!!” Well not funny…but you know what I mean…a cheery note to start the interview…oh I give up.
Oops.

At 12:30 a.m. on FM – WPFW 89.3 (Pacifica.org)Washington, DC; I spoke with the funkiest bass player on the otherside of the pond. Mr. Mark King himself of Level 42, yes Mr King. After speaking with him, I realize that if any musician can bring that energy and wit at 5:30 a.m. in the morning (UK time) has to be sharp on stage. Still.
Mark, revealed that the 30th Anniversary new release has tracks, that has never been released to the public. Not too mentioned the hits from the past like “Something About You and Star Child” and other ones that made them a world wide known Pop/Funk/ Jazz fused band.
Glad too know that a fan can chat with one of his favorite band members. Anyway, I’ll see Mark and the rest of Level 42 at the Birchemere in Northern Virginia on July 22. But, I still think the show at The Nokia Theater in Times Square the next night will be their best US stop.
Big shout out to Wally Badarou! Where you at????
more power to you!
