Would it be too much to ask to add “Seven Years” to your set-list for the US tour? It may be a long-shot, but I just thought I’d ask. :D
See you in Brum, some new material would be great too.
Message for Mark King.
Hi Mark
I know it’s a long shot asking on here but I thought it may be worth a shot.
I’ve organised a large charity event in aid of The Rose Road School at the Soul Cellar in Southampton on the 3rd of July. As well as being in aid of charity it’s a ten year aniversary of my uncle passing away who in fact was a MASSIVE fan of yours. My brother will be playing Dune Tune as a tribute.
I’m hoping to pull in some extra money with a raffle and was wondering if there was anything at all you could donate? There will be many level 42 fans there and I thought this could be an amazing prize. I understand if it’s a no but it you don’t ask…
Kind regards
Jaimee.
Thank you so much,Mike and members, and I really enjoyed the night in Tokyo. My dream comes true, exactly. I will never forget the Lessons In Love at the last show in Tokyo. It was really excellent!
See you and I am looking forward to coming in Tokyo again.
Many Japanese fans tell their moving words everywhere.
I think L42 members have very good characters,
so their music is wonderful.
I felt their warm hearts at that night.
I have great confidence that 30th anniversary world tour will goes well.
Mark ! Can you hear me ? ;)
You’re really cool and sweet.
I miss you …
Please come back to Japan soon ! lol

I enjoyed fantastic shows in Osaka and lots of thanks you did for fans! So happy to pend the same time!
Beleive to come back again! Thank you so much indeed!
Thanks a bunch Mark, Mike and the rest of the guys, you were so awesome!! The absolute best. Life doesn’t get much better.
I really wanted a photo with you guys, but hey, ain’t gonna give up! One day…
I spent 8 hours on the bus to get to Osaka to see you guys (1st show) and though the bus ride itself was horrible, you guys made up for it 10 fold!
Pete, thanks for chatting with me, you are a fanfrickintastic drummer! Also, thanks for getting everyone to sign my “Retroglide” CD, that at least made up for not getting that photo. But happy nonetheless!
You guys better come back to Japan again. You are always welcomed here, you know that we’ll be waiting and groovin’ till the sun goes down. :^)
Take care, stay safe.

Mark I’m rediscovering my love of Level 42 (saw you at least half a dozen times in the late 80′s early 90′s (including a Princes Trust Concert at the NEC, Birmingham and a fantastic outdoor event at Crystal Palace when you were supported by Squeeze). The last time I saw you was at the Royal Court in Liverpool and cannot wait to see you again in Liverpool at the Philharmonic in October with my sister and niece.
Thank heavens for Youtube – I’ve been watching all the old concert footage getting me in the mood!
Nathan is a bit of a star isn’t he? Mike looks exactly the same as he did all those years ago (ask him has he got a portrait in his attic growing old?)
Kath
