Looks like you all had a fantastic time stateside, sadly the lottery didn’t come my way or I would have booked up to go to some of the gigs!! I have tickets to see you gig in St.Albans in October and am gonna try to get more gigs in if I can (fingers crossed). Keep funking the bass world and ill see you in St.Albans.

Can’t wait for your return visit – please don’t forget about us! By the way, when you guys didn’t start at 8:00, my husband asked one of the guys who works at the show what was going on – he said “I don’t know but everytime I walk by the dressing room, I smell chicken!” Kind of funny and weird too! So, your secret is out! :-)

I knew I was in for a great day when my horoscope for Aug 1 said: Remember that the important thing isn’t necessarily what you’re doing but the people you’re with, Aquarius. It was such an amazing night. Meeting the delicious MK, Nathan and Mike after the soundcheck was stellar. The show itself was outstanding and the grand finale which included Mark shaking my hand and saying some kind words to me was icing on the cake.

It would be great if there ends up being a couple of Canadian dates next year but I’ll travel to the States again in a heartbeat – I’ve made some great new L42 friends that I’d love to see again.
I’m curious to know what how many were in attendance at the various U.S. shows. Anybody have some rough estimates for the shows other than Vegas?

Oh It was so wonderful in LA on Saturday !! Started out by meeting with fans preshow at ESPN zone … Carl and Laurel Mueller and their handsome boys, Winston Walker was so HAPPY to see you showed up !!! Met some other wonderful new friends !! The Show was fantastic … I went a bit crazy dancing and singing but hey i didn’t hear anyone complaining :) . Was so wonderful to meet the guys later … Thank you Mark, Sean, Mike and Nathan for taking the time to speak to me !! It really was worth the trip from Canada to finally meet you after all these years .. it meant the world to me :) !!! Please come back next year and try to include Canada .. i have so many friends who would come to see you guys who could not make it down like I did :) . Have a wonderful rest of your summer and all the best on the Uk Tour !! God Bless you guys i love you!!!xx

Wow what an amazing show in Vegas. I wish I could do it over and over again. I think I was right behind Mr. Pat Flanagan who commented in and earlier post about taking pictures throughout the show. I’d love to see those. My iPhone was overwhelmed. I have been a die hard fan since I was 15 and wont likely be able to afford to travel to Europe to see you guys, so I will be eagerly awaiting your return to the US. Come see us in The Mile High City, Rainbow Music Hall and McNichol’s are gone but Red Rocks awaits. Could not have asked for a better set, knew every word to every song, did not expect to hear Dream-Crazy, my wife and I will have great memories of our 19th anniversary. Just missed getting an autograph from Mark. Thanks to you all.

Just wanted to express our gratitude for your visit to the States and to let you know we thought the band put on an amazing performance at all 4 shows we managed to get to.
We had met you all (except Pete) previously in 2008 and it was a privilege to talk with you all again. I know of no other band who are so gracious and giving of their time to the fans (even when we say hello on your pre-gig walks about town!) and your fans truly appreciate this!
It will be more than we dreamed of to see you again next year, but if possible please, please, please include a stop in Toronto for all your Ontario and western NY fans (and I’m sure a couple of Albertans and a Nova Scotian will be there too)! So a huge thank you to you Mark, Mike, Nathan (cheers Dude!), Sean and Pete, and also to Joey, Dave, the BOH soundman, guitar tech/”security” (haha, Mark), and drum tech (thx for the stix); sorry I didn’t get all your names. Have a great tour of the UK/Europe!

I have just read and seen pictures of the American experience. My old mucker Mark Jowitt, your sound engineer, I haven’t seen him in years. It would be nice to have a chin wag with him and catch up. How so I go about doing this please help. The music is still fresh by the way and always stirs up the memories of good old funk and slap. Keep it up Mr King your still the slap god of bass.

My only regrets in this was not meeting up with Krys Mach who i also have been lucky to chat with on Facebook . I love the pic with Mark, Krys and Sean … all very nice guys IMHO ..and the loss of my camera during and after .. iwould have loved to have gotten pictures .. next time though !!
