A custom recording made by Mark King for the official Level 42 website (www.level42.com).
It is dedicated to Morgan Roussel who has ran the official site since the internet began.
The music comes from a track called ‘Hello John’ which was the title of an unused instrumental dating back to 1983.
Mark ressurected the track and sings the following lyrics; “Welcome to the website that Morgan has built for you you can find all about the band level 42 hello, hello, hello, hello hello, hello, hello, hello.”

lovely sound thanx mark and the band makes me feel welcome :)
Oh Crikey! Erm…it’s certainly different! Hehehe
They had this up at the old website when you first logged in .. and ya it is different lol :)
I remember this song…
I liked that page. ;)
First time hearing this song…Great stuff! It’s interesting and complex – listened to it several times to get a hold of the time signature & intervals. Just goes to show you… Level 42 goes WAY deeper musically and emotionally than most can comprehend or appreciate. There’s Lots goin on there…true to the core of Jazz – true to artistic aestheticism. Thanks ’42/Mark! Love you Guys! Come move to California so I can hear you and see you any time I want! hahaha :D
Dang… I keep listening to this over and over.. I want to hear the ENTIRE Piece! Hope you guys will put it out on a New CD Soon! Way Cool!
