You guys are better than ever. I loved every minute of the gig tonight. Great venue and crowd too. Every tune was a favourite. I missed ‘Leaving me now’ though, maybe next time eh! Would love to hear ‘Coup de etat’ live. Ever thought of doing that for this tour? By the way, the new drummer was fantastic.

Thank you Mark, Mike, Nathan, Sean and Pete for another fantastic concert. The audience went mad when you guys came on tonight, so please keep touring!!!

Also I’ll be seeing you again at Ipswich, along with my Mum. Would it be possible to have my photo taken with you and Mike either before or after the show as I have been a fan since 1987 and it would make me very happy!

    Keep on rocking!!!!!!!!

Oxford was my last gig of the tour sadly…but it was certainly the BEST I have ever seen you guys do!
Mark…thank you so much for adding my fave to the setlist (TBWYA) and I meant what I said when it started! ;)
Although you were very cheeky at the end – I only wanted a hug and I peck! hehhehee but I couldn’t get near as you know.

LOVED meeting all friends from the Digest and all the new ones at the venue! Absolutely FANTASTIC! I will remember that night…ALWAYS!

    MUCH love to all…Marie xx

Totally loved it last night. Went with my mum and she went from a 64 year old lady to a teenager when ‘Running In The Family’ started up!

Missed hearing ‘Leaving Me Now’ but believe me, ‘Something About You’ completely made up for it. Could listen to that amazing song, over and over and over and over. It’s my fave and reminds me of all those times my heart was broken years ago as a young girl… Those first few intro chords and I’m back in the past.

The evening flew by though! had silly balcony tickets so couldn’t dance (spoil sports)

Can’t wait to take our seats for next year (in an area this time where we can get up and shake our thing!)xxx

Fantastic concert at Oxford, great way to spend our 30th Wedding Anniversary at the Level 42 30th Anniversary tour, and from IOW where we come from too.
Been following Level 42 since on Island as went Phil was in same year as me at Sandown HS and lived just down road in Shanklin.

Pity you are not coming to Reading and Basingstoke as well.

Oxford was a great show, very loud though, had to go to the loo and put some wet tissue in my ears.

You are playing to a older fan base now, a bit to loud for me.

Absolutely fantastic, we loved it (as always). My 10 year old daughter came along this time and she said ‘they are awesome’. I’ve been a fan from the beginning and never had the chance to meet you but on Saturday we managed it. Thank you all so much for being so lovely to both of us, you are all such great guys. Happy Birthday Mark for the 20th October.

Love Carolyn x & Holly xx (you are awesome!)

First time I have been to a Level 42 concert having been into these guys back in eighties as a teen! Took my kids and they can’t stop playing the CD’s that I have! Looking forward to bringing these NEW fans the next time you are in town.

    Hi Mark and gang,

Hope gigs are going well. First time-ers to a Level 42 (Oxford) gig and it was amazing, it made my Moms night meeting you Mark afterwards too! She grabbed your arm and couldn’t believe she was meeting you and you gave her a big hug. Just a quick question; “Its Over” is our fave, who is Beryl?!? Would love an answer if and when you get time.

Take care guys, keep up the good work and hope to see you in Oxford again soon. xx

Beryl is one of the “die-hard” fans and a person I’m now delighted to call a friend. She’s lovely and goes to a lot of the gigs with her friend Julie. You will nearly always find them at the front.
We were all kind of sure he was talking about her anyway, as I think she met them the night before in her hometown of Liverpool. Hope that helps :)

Also quite surprised to hear Mark stayed on after the gig as “someone” informed me that he had drove away…therefore I never got to meet him at all. Hmmm… :(

Glad everyone had fun though ;)
