Last night was incredible, Influences album, Trash stuff some new instrumental pieces. Just amazing! Great venue and the guys looked like they were really digging in. Thanks so much for being so gracious and spending time with us after the show. A most memorable night, thank you!

Please could you release some of that new stuff soon?

    Chris

Didn’t get there. Just missed out on some cancelled tickets at the venue. Not to be.
But I am now so envious after reading the reviews.
Oh well, from now on I will keep up to date with tour dates and info on website.

Aw @gobbiebird, I am very sorry you didn’t get that last minute ticket in time, that is such a shame hun, if I was a good liar I would comfort you & say you didn’t miss much, but I can’t..
I went to the Friday late show & it was unbelievably amazing, Mark completely outdid himself – just immense, honestly, I have been singing Outstanding non stop since Friday! And Mike, Gary, Nathan, Pete & Sean, and Miles, Dan & Nicol were insanely fantastic too, so tight, they were just brilliant.
Not to worry though @gobbiebird, we are uber lucky in the UK this year, there are so many shows lined up over the country for October 2012, we are properly spoiled. Just to talk to so many lovely #LevelHeads from all over the world makes you realise how much we take so many opportunities to see them on our doorstep for granted – in short, get booking hun!

OK, novel almost finished, would just like to say, to the fantastically lovely Metropolis gang, AKA the “ReLEVELution Heads”, thank you for yet another wonderful experience that I wouldn’t have wanted to share with anyone else, and for yet more happy memories money couldn’t buy.

I was lucky enough to be at 3 of the Ronnie Scotts gigs (The opening Night and the 2 shows on the last night). The final show blew me away – everyone just gelled so well on that last performance and the energy was immense.

I loved the track A.T’s with Mike’s vocoder! some great tracks on the setlist and a nice change from the norm.

Most Level 42 Fans have their tickets booked for October so the music played at Ronnies was fitting for the venue (even Level42 tracks would have been but this was nice).

The band members as normal were kind enough to talk to fans and pose for photos and autographs after the gigs and it was nice to watch the gig in an intimate venue along with fans that have met through Level 42 gigs along the way.

Hats off to Mark King & Friends for what was simply a week at Ronnie’s to remember…

Look forward to seeing Level 42 and Fans in October!

I could get UK the last 10 december for the live recording set at the legendary “Metropolis Studio”, but this time, due to my business, I have missed those fantastics night at Ronnie Scotts.
It should have been amazing be there and admiring our heroes performing “the essential” !
By the way, I was answered by Luke Armitage that the release date of the DVD live is not confirmed yet; anyway he thinks that september could be the right moment.
A big Ciao to all my dear friends that I had met at the Metropolis Studio.

A great set of shows last week. I still cannot believe that I eventually saw material from Influences being played lived. I thought I would never see that stuff live after many an album listen since – wait for it – George Orwells year of 1984.

I was lucky to attend 4 shows out fot the 8 and would do it again if Mark was playing at Ronnies again. Great performenace by all of the 8 piece band members.

Nice to see you and the others last Friday night Sammy and your other half.. Look after those feet now!

I knew those shows would be legend and they were. Great to see Gary back playing with Mark and Marks performance ranks amongst the best I have seen him live.

Will Mark play shows like that again at a venue like Ronnies, we shall wait and see or was that a one off set of shows.

Well done and looking forward to the future!

    Raymond

Hi everyone, bit late posting, but better late than never, was at the last show at Ronnie Scotts what a great venue,. the gig was just so good,i was there with my lovely wife Linda, she isnt a level head but she really looks forward to seeing our heroes. I just cant quantify how much of an awesome treat and privelage it was to hear the tracks from Influences, never though that was gonna happen. The whole gig was amazing, was great to see Gary again, Nathan was really amazing, after that performance Nathan you`re with the greatest of respect, in no ones shadow, thanks to the whole band you were awesome,. We were also at Metropolis wot an amazingley fantastically surreal evening, couldnt believe my luck to be there, its was great to meet fellow Levelheads the lads from soufend, “wotcha boys”, did you enjoy Ronnie Scotts, no need to answer. met 4 lovely girls from japan, sang the chinese way to them, “i know”, but they got it,. Chris Doney “i`ve got some photos of you with Mark” ooh er! haha i`ve got your email address will send them to you as soon as i work out how to do it, hi Darren, and a ciao big to Andrea Celi from Italy, not forgetting Karen Ortiz From New York there were many others it was great to meet you all. Only joking about the band they were amazing at metropolis, they stayed with us way longer than they were gonna, so friendly and relaxing, still cant believe it though. When i bought the tickets i was so exited to have the chance of meeting the band, can u imagine this i`m GUARANTEED with these tickets to meet after thirty years of waiting and hoping to meet Mark King, Thee Mark King of LEVEL 42, wait for it, i was at the Princes trust two weeks previous and i`m walking along the pavement outside the Albert hall before the show, and who do i bump into?, yes Mark King who was in fact very gracious, i had my photo taken with him. And then i walked a bit further and then i met Pete Ray Biggin who was also very gracious. after all this time isnt it uncanny to meet Mark by accident, Two weeks before i`m GUARANTEED to meet him. If i had known that i could have saved my money on the metroplis gig, Naaaahhh!! haha, Alan.
