  1. Went to the Salford gig myself on Tuesday and it was unusual that they opened with the Gary Husband song ‘If You were mine’ from the ‘Guaranteed’ album. Most of the albums were covered except ‘The Early Tapes’, The Pursuit Of Accidents’ and ‘Retroglide’. Indeed I was surprised that ‘Chinese Way’ a live regular was omitted from the set this time. Great harmonies from Nathan as usual and the horn section just keeps getting better. Mark and Pete seemed a little subdued for once and it was funny when Mark thought he was at the ‘Apollo’ in Manchester at one point. Mark did a nice thing though hanging around straight after the gig for selfies, handshakes etc. Mike was on top form and I still love how he bounces around the stage just like the old days. Still the best live act on the circuit me thinks.

  2. Gonna see the show in Paard van Troje in The Hague sunday evening! im putting my shirt on that I bougth in 1984 the yellow one from the something about you album, still in mint state by the way! really looking forward to it!

Marc with a C (I also play the bass like many of your fans)

  3. Thanks, Mark & Co, it was an amazing gig in Amager Bio yesterday – so much energy and so much fantastic music… and an incredible horn section!
