Holy Smokes! I had forgotten how freakin awesome this really is. They all seem to be having a blast and just so tight!!

Why don't Mark and the guy's tap into some of this. Understanding that times have moved along a good bit...if this wasn't still relative - it would sound old and dated- right ??

Some of their ideas and creations were so far ahead of anything else. Take a new look at old ideals - thats what I say.

Am I the only one that thinks a bit more of this kinda thing - in the mix would really go down a storm. You gotta love the tone of that Jay Dee - golden gest right into your chest.

Man I gotta go watch this again!

Hey Darren,

I well remember that and I if I am not mistaken it was an edition of The Old Grey Whistle Test. Level 42's second time - I think.

Didn't Mike, Mark, Phil and Boon all start playing the drums and for quite a good period of time...?? It would be great to see a little bit of "out of the box thinking" like that again.

Try the BBC again and identify what you are looking for as an Old Grey Whistle Test edition.

But it does seem like I have been wrong a lot this year and we are only 14 days into it.

On another note. Hope you have all have had chance to listen to Phil's new album Watertight. Its amazing and gets better with every play. But I can't help thinking he has had some really sad times in his life. He sure is a phenominal lyrisist.

Hi guys and gals i know theres loads of you out there that have been around as long as i have so someone must be able to help ! I went to this gig and it was also shown on bbc2 which i recorded on some crap vhs of the time(werent even a fergurson video star!) .Anyway the tape has long since gone the bloody dog ate it! and i wonder if anyone knows if and where i could get a copy ? I actually tried the bbc but they were about as much use as a chocolate teapot.Would love to see the vid again it was in the days when mark had a thrash on the drums,starchild and i want eyes brilliant live happy days !
