Good fun to see, thanks Dean. Gee, Kate Bush is really compelling, I need to check her music out again.

So was anyone able to pick Mark out in the group shots? I thought I caught a glimpse of his hair around the 5:50 mark but alas it could have just been another feathered blonde. It's crazy how similar the men and women did their "coiffs" in '87! It certainly made Boy George stand out even more!

I enjoyed Mark's bass contributions, especially toward the end of the song when he injected some signature maneuvers.

I'll tell you what!, some of those eighties ladies were gorgeous. Kim Wilde, the Appleby sisters and Kate Bush to mention but a few. Mind you back then some of the blokes looked like birds as well, you couldn't tell who was what.

Mark was involved with the " Ferry Aid " single which came out around that time ( i think ).

Ferry Aid was about 3 years after, I believe. I know Band Aid was 1984, seems like Ferry Aid was 1987, we didn't hear much about the latter in the states.

If I remember correctly, they were offered a spot in Live Aid, but there was some reason connected with management as to why they didn't play there. Someone else would have to fill in the blanks on that, I could be wrong.

So amongst all the Xmas songs being played on the radio right now is Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas"........ which got me thinking, was Mark King a part of that recording with the other 80's stars? Apologies if this has been asked before and is common knowledge
