Normally, I don't go in for old troubadors reliving their moments of glory (the faded voice, the attempt at displaying passion, akin to Ferdinan Marcos of the Phillipines...)
But this is real nice. Mark has kept his voice (and when you get right down to it, that's simply a gift). The song is somehow different and more sincere on aucoustic, in such a setting. He's still "got it", whatever "it" is. The song is so apologetic. What a grand melding of being sorry and coming on strong in the love department. (Whatever "the love department" is.)
Thanks to Mark for allowing this to be filmed. Thanks to mike for sharing it. There is nothing wrong with being totally honest and out -there. This is a great example. I feel more fulfilled than seeing this performed on stage. Have a good day.
