Amazing night at the O2 last night, My Girlfriend and I were in the front row right in front of Mark and it was a gig I’ll never forget. Sound was brilliant and you guys all work so hard on stage, great energy and brilliant set. I’m 27 and been playing bass and singing live for 12 years and I always take something away from your gigs. Mark, total pro during starchild, that’s happened to me once or twice wish i could stay as calm as you. What a star !!… Roll on 2012 and thanks again for rolling into Glasgow. We had a night to remember…

    Hello there.

A very good friend of mine who was a massive fan of you guys recently passed away. His wife and son are coming along to the gig in Newcastle tonight and I was wondering if you could give them a quick mention on stage or perhaps dedicate a song to his memory, please? My friend was called Mark Chenylle-Proctor and his wife and son who will be there are called Tina Chenylle-Proctor and Jamie Chenylle-Proctor. I understand this is late notice but if you do get this before the gig tonight it would be great if you could consider this?

    Many thanks

    Adam

    Mark,

Brilliant gig at The Sage tonight – really enjoyed it. Won’t be getting to any more gigs this year due to family commitments but best of luck for the rest of the tour.

    Best wishes,

    Paul

I work near the Glasgow Academy and looked out the office window on Tuesday afternoon to see Mike Lindup walk by … he must have gone out to get the sandwiches!
